Founded in 1989 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, we have grown to employ over 2,600 people primarily in the southern region of the United States.
 
Through our offices in Baton Rouge, Beaumont, Houston and Lake Charles, we service the chemical processing, petrochemical, refining, power and pulp and paper industries.
 
Position Summary:
Responsible for leading all aspects of Human Resources.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with leadership to support business objectives by providing HR support and guidance for all offices.
  • Management of talent acquisition which encompasses recruiting, selection and placement of associates.
  • Develop, implement and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state fair hiring practices and EEO regulations.
  • Provide Risk Management support and direction to management in addressing interpersonal and performance concerns, as well as, the creation, interpretation and application of human resource policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership training in regard to managing harassment and discrimination, conflict resolution and performance evaluation and improvement standards.
  • Assure positive employee relations
  • Conduct investigations of allegations regarding violations of policies and represent the company accordingly.
  • Manage exposure as it relates to the selection, placement and termination of employees.
  • Corporate representative in employment mediation and arbitration hearings.
  • Key member of corporate Workforce Development Team.
  • Manage Human Resources Module within Vista ERP, which includes verification of data integrity, report design, security management and identifying necessary efficiency modifications.
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years Human Resource Management experience required, preferably in the petrochemical industrial construction environment.
Demonstrated leadership and team building abilities
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Employee Relations, Business, Management or related field of study
Highly motivated team player able to work at a fast pace
Capable decision-maker with strong time management and organizational skills
