ISC Constructors, LLC, a privately held company, is an industrial electrical, instrumentation, and controls company offering engineering, construction and maintenance services.  Founded in 1989 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, we have grown to employ over 2,500 people primarily in the southern region of the United States.  Through our offices in Baton Rouge, Beaumont, Houston, and Lake Charles, we service the chemical processing, petrochemical, refining, power, and pulp paper industries.

SUMMARY
The position is responsible for assisting in the recording, reconciling, and reporting of Company financial data while applying appropriate accounting principles to insure the integrity and accuracy of financial information.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare assigned monthly account reconciliation schedules
• Posting of cash receipts
• Assist in maintaining and reconciling Accounts Receivable Sub-ledger
• Maintenance of Fixed Assets Sub-ledger
• Assist with responding to requests related to audits
• Assist with monthly closing
• Review of general ledger accounts and preparation of journal entries
• Serve as backup for various accounting functions
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or Finance required
• Experience: 2-4 years in a corporate accounting or public accounting environment required
• Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
• Construction accounting experience preferred
• Intermediate ERP skills - Viewpoint Vista a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products - Intermediate level required
