ISC Constructors, LLC, a privately held company, is an industrial electrical, instrumentation, and controls company offering engineering, construction and maintenance services.  Founded in 1989 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, we have grown to employ over 2,600 people primarily in the southern region of the United States.

Through our offices in Baton Rouge, Beaumont, Houston, and Lake Charles, we service the chemical processing, petrochemical, refining, power, and pulp paper industries.
 
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for leading all aspects of human resources compliance for all ISC locations.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Work with company leadership to support business objectives by providing support and guidance to ensure compliance with all human resource policies and procedures.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state fair hiring practices and EEO regulations.
  • Provide risk management support and direction to management in addressing interpersonal and performance concerns, as well as the creation, interpretation, and application of human resource policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership with training, related to managing harassment and discrimination, conflict resolution, performance evaluation and improvement standards.
  • Conduct investigations of allegations of violations of policies and represent the company accordingly.
  • Manage exposure as it relates to the selection, placement, and termination of employees.
  • Act as the corporate representative in employment mediation and arbitration hearings.
  • Manage the Vista ERP Human Resources module including verification of data integrity, report design, security management, and identifying opportunities for improved efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of Human Resource Management experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial/Employee Relations, Business, Management, or related field of study required.
  • SHRM-CP and SPHR certification preferred.
  • Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system required.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities with strong time management and organizational skills.
