Summary

ISC Constructors, LLC, a privately held company, is an industrial electrical, instrumentation, and controls company offering engineering, construction and maintenance services. Founded in 1989 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, we have grown to employ over 3,200 people primarily in the southern region of the United States. Through our offices in Baton Rouge, Beaumont, Houston, and Lake Charles, we service the chemical processing, petrochemical, refining, power, and pulp paper industries.

This position is for an Onsite Instrumentation Designer at an industrial facility in Baton Rouge, La. The candidate should be able to lead and perform design efforts as necessary to ensure completion of projects on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and with other team members to establish design criteria for a project.
• Identify, scope, and design engineering work packages.
• Prepare detailed project drawings related to the assigned scope of work.
• Perform and lead field walks for site verification.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 4+ Years of experience in the Petrochemical industry.
• Knowledge and application of construction standards and best practices.
• Knowledge of theoretical and practical engineering standards
• Ability to work independently and with a design team.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and INtools preferred.
