The Position:

ISC Constructors is seeking an electrical BIM Specialist and Virtual Design and Construction drafter / designer experienced in Revit and AutoCAD to develop schematic and detailed level model development to support planning, design, and construction. This position will assist project teams in implementing sound BIM practices.

Applicants should:

• Support processing and creation of BIM coordination products (Navisworks, Revit, CAD, BIM 360).
• Conduct clash detection studies and coordinate with other trade contractors to eliminate conflicts in building systems.
• Identify incomplete design information and develop coordinated BIM project models.
• Create accurate, detailed technical plan drawings, diagrams, and schematics for electrical systems.
• Combine rough sketches and initial design ideas from engineers into technical drafts for further study and review by the project team.
• Check technical drafts and verify measurements and units are accurate based on initial design information.
• Experience with Data Center facility, Semiconductor, Mission Critical or similar light industrial facility.
• Combine information from multiple plans and incorporate them into a single spatial model.
• Collaborate with design teams, clients, architects, surveyors, engineers, and project managers.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in 3D detail level modeling.
• Proficiency in Revit and one or more of the following BIM platforms: AutoCAD, Navisworks.
• Field experience in construction management, estimating or detailed electrical design.
• High level understanding of the purpose of electrical systems for facilities.
• General Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
