ISC Constructors, LLC, a privately held company, is an industrial electrical, instrumentation, and controls company offering engineering, construction and maintenance services. Founded in 1989 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, we have grown to employ over 2,500 people primarily in the southern region of the United States. Through our offices in Baton Rouge, Beaumont, Houston, and Lake Charles, we service the chemical processing, petrochemical, refining, power, and pulp paper industries.

Summary

Able to perform engineering duties as necessary to ensure completion of projects on schedule. Must be able to independently perform assignments requiring the application of standard design engineering techniques for a small project or selected segments of a larger project.

Responsibilities

• Supervise project team and ensure project progression
• Prepare technical specifications for review and approval
• Evaluate vendors’ bids and drawings to assure compliance with specifications
• Perform calculations for a detailed segment of a project
• Work with project engineers and designers to ensure engineering standards are applied correctly
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10+ Years of experience in the petrochemical industry
• Licensed (PE) Professional Engineer or the ability to become licensed.
• Knowledge and ability to apply the correct engineering standards
• Ability to work independently and lead a design team
