The Position:

We are looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager with experience and knowledge in electrical and instrument equipment types and descriptions, warehouse experience and the ability to drive and operate company owned equipment. Associate will report to the Services Manager at our Baton Rouge Corporate campus. This is a leadership role with direct report responsibilities.

  • Strong logistical skills and self-motivation are crucial to this role.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Can see task from beginning to end.
  • Adaptable to an ever-changing work landscape.
  • DOT CDL knowledge.
  • Oversees check – in and out equipment entering and leaving warehouse.
  • Direct the maintenance of storage containers, field offices, gang boxes, flammable storage boxes, portable shelters, litter pans, pulling ropes, etc.
  • Assist in maintaining delivery vehicle and equipment records, licenses, and permits.
  • Ensure that Drivers and other personnel maintain necessary OSHA training, CDL licenses, other permits, and driver logs.
  • Research and study of new equipment and tools for potential use.
  • Coordinate equipment backorders with the rest of the team via backorder process.
  • Offer suggestions on improving warehouse functions and efficiency.
  • Maintains Tool Catalog for updates and revisions.
  • Monitor equipment inventories.
  • Perform other tasks as needed or instructed.

Requirements:

  • Integrity in dealings with other associates and clients.
  • Ability to work with other personalities in the department and company.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and technical translation.
  • Strong mindset especially in the areas of leadership, being a team player, dependable, attendance, willingness to work overtime, presentable dress and appearance, willingness to listen and learn, attention to detail, can-do attitude, sense of urgency and energy.
  • Must have a current driver’s license and pass company performed MVR.
