Summary

ISC Constructors, LLC, a privately held company, is an industrial electrical, instrumentation, and controls company offering engineering, construction and maintenance services. Founded in 1989 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, we have grown to employ over 3,200 people primarily in the southern region of the United States. Through our offices in Baton Rouge, Beaumont, Houston, and Lake Charles, we service the chemical processing, petrochemical, refining, power, and pulp paper industries.

Able to lead and perform electrical and instrumentation design efforts as necessary to ensure completion of projects, on schedule. Provide technical assistance to junior design/drafting personnel and review completed tasks for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Work with other team members to establish design criteria for projects
• Evaluate vendors' bids and drawings to ensure compliance with customer specifications
• Work with project engineers and designers to ensure engineering standards are applied correctly
• Prepare detailed project drawings related to the assigned scope of work
• Perform and lead field walks for site verification, as required
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Five (5) years or more of experience in the petrochemical industry
• Knowledge and application of construction standards and best practices
• Knowledge of theoretical and practical engineering standards
• Ability to work independently and lead a design team
• Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
