Summary

This position is for a Sr. Electrical Designer at an industrial facility in Donaldsonville, LA. The candidate should be able to lead and perform electrical design efforts as necessary to ensure completion of projects on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Work with other team members to establish design criteria for a project.
• Evaluate vendors’ bids and drawings to assure compliance with site specifications.
• Work with project engineers and designers to ensure engineering standards are applied correctly.
• Prepare detailed project drawings related to the assigned scope of work.
• Perform and lead field walks for site verification as required.
• Other duties as assigned

• 10+ Years of experience in the Petrochemical industry.
• Knowledge and application of construction standards and best practices.
• Knowledge of theoretical and practical engineering standards
• Ability to work independently and lead a design team.
• Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
